About the roles
We are looking for two colleagues with a flair for algorithm development, to join our algorithm team, located in Copenhagen.

As System Integration Manager your main responsibilities are continuous integration, verification, and SW releasing of the algorithm asset, including code quality assurance, regression testing and revision control. You will work in close collaboration with algorithm design colleagues and teams responsible for the overall product SW integration.

As Algorithm Simulator Development Engineer your main responsibilities are development and maintenance of an algorithm simulation system and tools used for testing and performance verification of the algorithm asset and its components. The work includes implementation of new features in Python, SW architectural changes in algorithm libraries, test automation, code review, and ensuring that the simulations are executed efficiently on the compute grid. You will work in close collaboration with algorithm designers.

As part of our team, you will join a significant R&D effort and play a key role in the development of biometric algorithms for current and future modalities, adapted to smartphones, wearables, smartcards, as well as other devices and business segments. The algorithm team is a central part of R&D and is characterized by a high level of professional competence, as well as an open, friendly and innovative work environment.

Who you are
The right candidates have Master or Ph.D. level academic qualifications in engineering, computer science or similar, and the following skills and competences:

  • You are a team player with a positive problem-solving attitude.
  • You are open to learn new things and are driven by a deep technical interest.
  • You can drive assignments independently and self-manage priorities.
  • You have a strong attention to detail and value the importance of code quality, revision and testing.
  • Strong experience with Python and C/C++ programming and BASH scripting in Linux/Unix environment.
  • Continuous SW integration, branching, releasing and version control (git).
  • SW development, verification, and code quality assurance processes and tools such as Gerrit, Jenkins.
  • Experience with grid computing is considered an advantage.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
