Advanced Project Engineer

Job Description
Are you ready to develop tomorrow’s manufacturing systems? For Danfoss Power Solutions Joysticks and Controls, we are looking for a true team player to lead our list of road map projects.

You will join a team which core activity is to develop, specify and implement manufacturing systems, cells and methods. You will be located in Nordborg and will in some projects coordinate activities with our plant in Minneapolis.
 
Developing tomorrow’s production systems
As our new Advanced Project Engineer you will join the New Product Development teams and lead the implementation phase together with highly skilled and dedicated professionals. You will develop tomorrow’s production systems using the newest industry standards. Using new thinking, new solutions with advanced technology, you are leading us into Industry 4.0 transition. Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Manage New Product Development (NPD)
• Lead technology projects ranging from CAN bus, analogue electronics, Sat Nav. wireless communication, displays and controllers
• Act as a core team member in projects

Qualification Requirements
You must have a background in electronics and preferable good knowledge in programming (LabView, C++ or similar). Preferable you also have knowledge with IATF 16949 Quality standard and Lean Manufacturing. You can plan and structure projects using Microsoft Projects and/or similar tools.
As a person you have humor and you are easy going and flexible. You set high limits and can work with agreed deadlines.
