Do you want to work with cutting-edge electro-acoustic development tools, such as STSF (acoustic holography), laser scanning vibrometry and vibro-acoustic finite element analysis? And would you like to apply your skillset to help improve the lives of people with reduced hearing?

Join GN Hearing - and help make life sound better
Joining our acoustic development group, you will participate in cross-functional project teams dedicated to developing state-of-the-art products for our award-winning product portfolio. That means you will be a part of the entire development process from maturing new technologies to launching the final product on the market.

We have acoustic R&D teams in Copenhagen, Chicago and Xiamen, China, and in addition to working alongside your colleagues at our Danish HQ, you will collaborate closely with our manufacturing team in Xiamen on maturing devices for manufacturing.

Grow your skills - and contribute across all phases of development
Your primary responsibility will be to work with the acoustical development of new hearing instruments - including directionality, noise reduction, sound quality, wind noise reduction and vibro-acoustic stability. Collaborating cross-functionally, you will:

  • Mature new ideas into proven concepts that are prototyped and tested
  • Document and present results of acoustic investigations
  • Design and evaluate general acoustic performance and stability of hearing instruments in close collaboration with mechanical engineers
  • Evaluate performance of new software algorithms together with our algorithm software group
  • Perform acoustical measurements according to standards for technical data sheets and country specific reports

Become part of a highly skilled technology-leading team
As a technology-leading company, we offer you both professional and personal development. We aim to hear more, do more and be more - and the only way we can achieve this goal is by working together. Continuously reviewing each other’s work is a central aspect of the team’s process. And as our new colleague, we will make sure that you get the support and encouragement you need.

  • You have experience with cooperation in interdisciplinary project teams
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English
  • It is an advantage if you have experience with SoundCheck measurement system, Matlab, LabVIEW, hearing aids, acoustic transducers and acoustic signal processing

As a person, you are independent and able to drive your own tasks in a structured manner. You have good cooperation and communication skills, and you possess great energy and drive allowing you to work in a performance-oriented environment.
