Account Manager, Technically Equipment, EMEA (Client Services Manager)

Dynatest is currently recruiting an experienced and ambitious sales responsible Account Manager/Client Services Manager to work out of Copenhagen.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-tech “state-of-the-art” company for a person with a solid technical sales experience; a person with the ambition to play a key role in developing the Dynatest sales and business further in the EMEA region. The position is new and reports to the Global Director of Client Services.

Job summary
In this role you will

  • Be responsible for selling pavement surveying equipment to both public and private sector clients in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
  • Be travelling typically 16-20 weeks a year. (Mainly in Europe).
  • Work according to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including: sales volume, sales growth rates, gross margin attainment, and customer satisfaction (both internal and external customers).

Essential responsibilities & accountabilities:

  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • High level of energy / self-motivator.
  • Excellent sales skills and solid experience selling high-tech equipment.
  • Project management experience and skills.
  • Strong, technical-analytical ability; ensures correct use of equipment and high-quality instructions to customers.
  • Attending industry events, conferences, and tradeshows - establishing strong customer and industry relations network.
  • Strong communicator with a natural talent for timely follow-up and customer satisfaction.

Your profile
Personal:

To succeed in this position, you need to be ambitious, energetic and a very good planner/organizer. You may be in the early stages of a great sales career, having successfully met your sales objectives so far, and you see this as the next, big challenge. Alternatively, you are a very experienced sales person looking for an exciting and independent position, that will allow you to travel a lot, exploiting your business network and your many years of experience.

Experience & education:
Your professional experience and your performance record will be in our focus, when we evaluate your CV: Ideally, you have a bachelor’s degree with at least 2-3 years of experience in technical sales and marketing.

However, a proven track record within technical sales and an ambitious personality is just as qualifying as a degree, no matter what your educational background is. Key is, that you have the right, robust and agile personality to “travel the world” in your effort to gain sales and business development results:

With a large amount of time travelling each year, meeting a broad variety of people and cultures on your way, to succeed in this position you need to be motivated by “being on the road”. Thus, you need to have a flexible family base, that allows for a travelling regime this size.

Language:
You are expected to be business fluent in English. This is a prerequisite to succeed in the job. Speaking a Scandinavian language as well as German, French and/or Spanish will be of advantage.

Specialized knowledge and skills:
Further to the listed attributes, it will be of advantage, but not a requirement, if you have

  • Knowledge of the Dynatest survey equipment and how they are used by pavement engineers and within the Dynatest Methodology
  • Knowledge of surface technology; pavement, pavement materials, pavement survey equipment and technology
