3D Asset Intern for Robotics in Vertical Farming

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with our Robotics Simulation Intern to create 3D assets for vertical farming and mobile robotics applications 
• Design and develop 3D models of vertical farming equipment, mobile robots and environments based on pictures, blueprints, and other data 
• Learn about parametric design to create flexible models that can be quickly modified to fit different farms 
• Use software such as Blender or Autodesk Maya to create and modify 3D assets 
• Work with the team to ensure that 3D assets are optimized for simulation and efficient performance 
• Attend regular status meetings and discussions to ensure that the project is on track 

Requirements: 

• Passion for sustainability and eagerness to contribute to cutting-edge robotics simulations for vertical farming and mobile robotics applications 
• Experience with 3D modeling software such as Blender or Autodesk Maya 
• Ability to work collaboratively with others, including our Robotics Simulation Intern 
• Comfortable creating 3D models based on pictures, blueprints, and other data 
• Interest in learning about parametric design to create flexible models that can be quickly modified to fit different farms 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to design and develop high-quality 3D assets 
• Good understanding of software development and the importance of following through for simulation projects
