We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic scientist for our Animal Health and Nutrition Application Research area.

You will work closely with our partner as well as with internal colleagues across the organization, to develop new innovative and sustainable enzyme solutions for the animal production industry. Your main activities will relate to the testing of new enzymes under conditions simulating feed processing and digestion to identify suited enzyme candidates for further testing in animals. In addition, you will be part of scoping new enzyme concepts to solve problems faced by our customers in a world with increased focus on feed efficiency and reduction of the use of growth promoting antibiotics.

In this position, you need to:

  • Have a Ph.D. in biochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, animal science or another related field and preferably with enzyme experience
  • Have solid hands-on experience with analytical laboratory procedures and statistical data evaluation
  • Be result oriented and motivated by being part of a larger project. Experience with project management is preferable but not a must
  • Have a pioneering spirit with a "go-do-it" attitude
  • Be flexible, dynamic and able to work independently while having a collaborative mindset
