What we offer 
Widex is looking for a new Global Demand Planner to our Global Sales & Operations team.  In your role, you will be responsible for global demand forecasting related to Widex sales companies.   
You will enjoy great responsibility and exposure to the business, and you will of course be supported in further developing Best-in-Class in demand planning process. It is an imperative task that needs to be precise and well-coordinated as forecasting affects the whole value chain.   

The Global Sales & Operations team is young, ambitious and dynamic and works closely with all levels of organization across the globe. The experience as Global Demand planner is a solid foundation for an international career. 
 
Your Responsibilities 

  • Running and maintaining the monthly forecasting process 
  • Continuous process and tool improvements in relation to forecasting
  • Coordination of forecasting activities and alignment with related activities in Global Sales & Operations 
  • Determine the professional approach and pinpoint improvement areas within demand planning, quality of forecasting and interpretation of standards into operational procedures 

Work tasks 

  • Monthly coordination of and reporting on purchasing and sales forecasting for the sales companies and key accounts. 
  • Consolidation, analyses of forecasting, and working with different statistical methods 
  • Close interaction and collaboration with stakeholders from Global Marketing and the sales companies regarding new product launches or changes in Supply Chain 
  • Presentations to Widex Top Management 
  • Monthly forecast meetings with the sales companies, following-up and securing improvement initiatives 
  • Ad hoc projects in optimizing processes 

Success Criteria 

  • High internal customer satisfaction by ensuring high forecast accuracy 
  • High quality analysis and mistake free calculations 
  • Constant improving the forecasting process and proactive approach in seeking opportunities for improvement 
  • Active involvement and interaction with stakeholders from HQ and extended organization 

You 

  • A master degree/HD from the Technical University or Business School, and with a high level in analytical work and mathematics 
  • Professional experience with analytical and planning tasks  
  • International experience from a production and sales environment, where you have gained insight in the full supply chain. 
  • Strong skills in Excel and good experience with the rest of the MS Office applications. 
  • Fluent English 

 
You are a person with high integrity and excellent communication skills, and with a natural flair for interacting with others and developing relations. You are detail oriented, analytical, data driven, and can find the right pragmatic and intelligent solution. You are well organized and can plan and execute against tight deadlines.
