Product Quality & Reliability Engineer

FOSS R&D is now looking for a product quality and reliability engineer for our dedicated REL team (Reliability, Environmental, Legal) in order to strengthen our competencies within specification, design and verification of product quality in the development projects.

The job
As a quality and reliability engineer you will be ensuring that FOSS products live up to our customers' expectations with regard to performance and reliability and that they comply with existing laws.

You will coordinate a small group of people working with different quality areas within a development project (eg. chemistry, legal, testing). The job also consists of both analysis and pratical testing in our well equipped test facility.

You will work in the REL team which today consist of 7 people.

Primary tasks

• Coordinate, execute and document product quality tests
• Determine environmental specifications for FOSS products
• Coorperate with design engineers regarding findings during the testing phase
• Implement new test methods and methodologies

Qualifications
You are an Electronic or Mechanical Engineer or similar with interest and experience within Product Quality Assurance and/or Research and Development

Preferable you have experience from working in a test house or a similar industry working with reliability issues.

It is an advantage if you have experience as a coordinator.

You communicate fluently in both written and spoken English.
