About the position, your new colleagues and your responsibilities
You will join an existing surveyor team with 3 technicians and be part of a department of 28 colleagues. The department delivers engineering and consultancy services for the oil and gas and offshore wind industry within the disciplines of piping and layout, mechanical and materials engineering, 3D survey and scanning. Many of the projects involve modifications to operating platforms and are multidisciplinary. You will collaborate internally across geographies and business units with other survey teams in Ramboll.
Your responsibilities and tasks vary from preparation of proposal, execution of scanning offshore and onshore, delivery of high quality services, managing a portfolio of several smaller and medium-sized projects at the same time including resource allocation on projects and monitoring of project economy. You will manage to balance the workload and optimize resources in the situation where many of the 3D survey and scanning projects are characterized by having a short horizon with high intensity. You have the responsibility for the day-to-day follow-up of the survey projects and delivery of services to our clients at agreed quality, time and budget. You will be the primary contact to clients regarding survey services. Also, it will be your responsibility to develop the surveying and scanning business in Ramboll Oil and Gas by developing new services and the employees in the team.
Who are we looking for?
You are M.Sc. Chartered Surveyor with 6-8 years of experience within the surveying and scanning field. You are now ready to move on in your career and take on broader responsibility, expand your skills set within multi-disciplinary projects and management of projects as well as developing a business. As a person you are trustworthy, outgoing, relationship oriented, driven and committed to reaching goals and delivering results. Your working style can be described as proactive, professional and enthusiastic with a clear focus on what is achievable and how to create value and success. You demonstrate flexibility, overview and ability to collaborate and have an international mind-set.

- Project management skills at basic level
- 3D laser scanning, 3D survey and stakeout, 3D spool survey and 3D adjustment
- QA/QC of survey dataCAD Skills
- MicroStation 2D/3D
- AutoCAD 2D/3D
- 3D modelling
- 3D software data
- LFM package, Faro Scene, Z+F LaserControl, Recap, NavisWorks, Trimble Realworks etc.
- 3D survey equipment
- Z+F laser scanners, Faro scanners, Trimble total stations etc.
- Danish and English at business professional level (written and verbal)
