Do you want to revolutionize how we plan and manage production in Novozymes?
Novozymes has set out to implement the most advanced type of model to handle production scheduling / internal supply chain management. By use of mathematical modelling and optimization algorithms we want to create an automatic end-to-end production planning model. We are looking for a strong candidate to become a key driver on this journey. If you are ready to work at the forefront of supply chain management development, you might be our new employee.
This is a permanent position, however you will become member of a project team to develop and implement the planning model. You will gather input from the business and define functional requirements for the model. You will work together with the consultants in programming the model, testing, validating, and ensuring usability and value creation. When the project ends, you will take ownership of the model and continue development according to business needs. There is a potential for a later global rollout.
You will become part of our production scheduling department, dealing with the important stakeholders in global planning, and the in the production. Hence, to be successful in this position you need to acquire a technical understanding of how the organization is working and how the production is executed.
In this position you need to:
- Have a M.Sc. degree within operations analytics or similar technical engineering field
- Have skills and interest in programming (Preferably Python) & mathematical modelling
- Have expert analytical skills and profound knowledge of concepts for operations management
- Have experience with process industry, and SAP is preferred
- Be fluent in English both verbally and in writing, Good Danish skills is much preferred
- Be a team player and good communicator, able to navigate between stakeholders with different interests
- Be structured, decisive and independent, with the ability to prioritize
