We are experiencing an increased activity and growth and are therefore looking for a plant design engineer who wants to work on offshore and onshore projects in the oil and gas industry. Provide excellent solutions to our clients
As a plant design engineer you will work with design and layout of processing plants (piping, vessels, pumps, etc.) on projects for international oil and gas companies. The job is varied, technically challenging, and includes multidisciplinary teamwork.

We offer you the opportunity to work with tasks such as:

  • Design in 3D CAD environment (PDMS and SmartPlant 3D)
  • Stress analyses of piping systems (CAESAR II)
  • Preparation of isometric pipe drawings and associated supports
  • Possibility for supervision at existing installations in the North Sea

There will be opportunities for travelling in connection with projects. Stationing abroad will also be an opportunity in the long run (2-3 years). You should be prepared to travel offshore occasionally.

We have a high focus on training our engineers, and it is important that you acquire the right competences to solve your tasks. To ensure this, a mentor will be assigned to guide you. Your mentor will match your experience and personality and will be working on the same project as you.

We expect that you:

  • Hold an MSc. or BSc. degree in mechanical engineering
  • Have experience or interest in plant design and layout
  • Are experienced or interested in offshore surveys and 3D design
  • Are a team player and can be relied on to meet deadlines
  • Have good English skills both written and oral

Your new colleagues
The Piping, Mechanical and Layout department in Esbjerg is mainly executing offshore brownfield oil and gas projects and studies; however, greenfield offshore oil and gas projects are also part of our portfolio. Our experts within special systems are among the leading specialists in the world. We are approximately 28 dedicated colleagues working with piping design and mechanical equipment like pumps, compressors, turbines, various vessels etc. In our department, we also have highly skilled 3D scanning and survey colleagues. We cover all aspects of piping engineering, including cost estimation, concept and feasibility studies, detailed and follow-on engineering, offshore supervision and engineering support as well as construction management services. Our projects take place in all parts of the world, and we hold offices in Denmark, Norway, Qatar, Abu Dhabi (U.A.E.) and India.
