Process Engineer for Yeast Plants

Alfa Laval wants to strengthen our global Brewery organization with central base in Søborg, Copenhagen. For this purpose, we looking for a talented, proactive and energetic process engineer to join the Brewery Process Modules & Yeast Plants team in our E&S organization.
 
Engineering & Supply (E&S) is a truly global support organization committed to deliver professional engineering and project management within a wide range of applications and industries. We have a global footprint, with employees in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, US, China, India, Brazil, Mexico, Italy, among other sites.
 
The process engineer will join an existing well-established team in Søborg, Copenhagen, focusing on engineering and delivering process modules and yeast plants used in the brewery industry for applications ranging from pasteurization and blending to yeast handling and de-alcoholization.
 
Key tasks

• Together with the project team, generate mass and energy balances, equipment specifications, P&ID´s & functional descriptions
• Together with the project manager, organize and execute engineering activities
• Participate in external meetings with customers to discuss/clarify process issues and engineering activities
• Drive improvement of technical solutions and embed best technologies, learning and practices into our engineering work and process design to the benefit of our customers
• Participate in performance tests and commissioning at supplier/customer sites
• Provide technical support to the Market Unit Brewery sales organization and customers
• Expected travel activities 50-80 days/year 

Ideal candidate

• Process or Mechanical engineering degree
• Experience within brewery and/or yeast handling
• Experience within engineering of process plants
• Structured, with a good sense of time-management
• Experience with AutoCad/Cadison a plus
• Experience with ERP system (Movex) a plus
• A good communicator in English (good communication in Spanish a plus)
• Customer-oriented team player
