We are looking for an experienced support specialist to our Business Intelligence team, who would thrive at the prospect of providing direct customer support, globally across the entire VELUX Group.
Your challenges
Your main responsibility will be to support end-users of Business Intelligence solutions in the VELUX Group e.g. by answering questions, verifying reports and making smaller data analysis and data validation . You will have a direct support role, which will also include solving operational tasks in close collaboration with our outsourcing partner.
In addition to providing excellent business intelligence support, you will be involved in a number of tasks regarding to our planning solutions (APO, SAP, BPC etc.) as well as operational tasks related to maintenance of our business intelligence infrastructure solutions. Furthermore, you will also get the opportunity to participate in different optimization projects with in the area of Business Intelligence.
You will be part of a dedicated support team of five experienced colleagues, with daily contact to many stakeholders in Denmark and abroad. Expected travel activity max. 5-10 days per year.
Your qualifications
We expect that you have a relevant education within IT, process or economics and several years of experience working with business intelligence from a technical point of view in a larger company. Experience with Global business intelligence and practical hands-on experience with SAP Business Objects, SAP BW, SAP BPC and SAP ERP will definitely be an advantage.
Some of your strong points are your ability to work independently and to act professionally in an international environment where many different cultures meet. You always put the customer first and you take pride in providing a professional and service minded support.
Your ability to adapt and take on new tasks - also within areas that you have not dealt with before -is important. You furthermore have a systematic and structured approach and are an excellent troubleshooter, who quickly gathers a good overview of complex issues - also during busy periods.
Other people describe you as a person with excellent communication and collaboration skills - an open and forthcoming and a person, able to easily disseminate technical knowledge to others. In addition, you have very good Danish and English skills, in both verbal and written form.
