Scanner Developer with a Flair for Low-Level Software Architecture

TRIOS solutions are disrupting multiple of the traditional dental workflows by replacing physical impressions of patient teeth with highly accurate, high-resolution 3D scans and digital workflows. Are you our new spitzenklasse colleague in R&D who can write scanner software with a great architecture in mind? As part of the TRIOS Scanner SW team you will develop new scanner components which dynamically can be combined into flexible scanner systems.

Your responsibilities

• Together with electrical and software engineers design and develop the low-level scanner system architecture
• Develop software services which controls the TRIOS scanners and interfaces to the application software
• Devise new possibilities for adding network and internet connectivity to the scanner system
• Design software to provide scalability and flexibility in the scanner system
• Contribute to a fun and professional work environment within the team and in the 3Shape family

Your profile

• Senior developer with a M.Sc. or Ph.D. in computer science, electronics engineering, applied mathematics or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience within software development, low-level architecture and distributed systems
• Skilled in designing interfaces and self-contained services and modules
• Programming skills in one or more object-oriented languages (we use Delphi, C++ and C#)
• Mindset for quality, flexibility, and for seeing priorities from a user perspective

It will be an advantage if you have experience with

• Development of cloud based software systems
• Software development within a medical context
