Product Manager
As Product Manager at our Lystrup location, your primary focus will be Radar Systems.
The Radar Product Management department is part of the Terma Command Control and Sensors business area. The department consists of a group of product managers, scientists and documentation staff being responsible for the product portfolio management.
The department is responsible for the right products to the global market and for supporting innovation in technology and market development.
The installed base is more than 2500 SCANTER radar systems worldwide.
Job description
As Product Manager at our Lystrup location, your primary focus will be Radar Systems. You will have the overall product responsibility, maintain the overall stakeholder requirements, act as customer to Terma Technology and Innovation, and support the worldwide sales organization. Your focus will be on the design of naval Radar projects on the basis of components from the Terma SCANTER product portfolio. Your main tasks will be to develop solutions and support sales, project execution, documentation, training, and logistics through all phases of large and complex projects
Work is to high professional standards and the right applicant will assist in continuously strengthening the Terma Radar business
Responsibilies
In collaboration with other product and project managers and in close interaction with customer representatives, your expertise and domain experience will ensure that our radar systems will be delivered to and be operational at the customer’s site in full compliance with the high expectations of the customer and of Terma.
Qualififations
You have an engineering and/or commercial university degree on Master's level or hold an equivalent education from e.g. the maritime environment. You have at least five years of relevant experience within advanced technology or experience with naval tactical and surveillance systems.
You have worked with planning and management of complex projects, including preparation of requirement specifications, test procedures, etc.
You are an excellent communicator/instructor and you are capable of communicating technically complex solutions in a comprehensive and committed manner.
Competences
The Product Manager must have the ability to learn fast and work efficiently and be able to seek, collect and compile information from other product managers, developers, support staff, etc.
Good communication skills, orally and in writing, combined with the ability to learn fast and work efficiently is a must. This will include the ability to take part in education of sales and support staff.
Mastering the English language is a must. Graphical skills and the ability to speak and write in other languages will be advantageous.
