For our Bearing department in Technology Development in our head office in Brande we are looking for a new Sealing Systems Engineer to join our international team of highly skilled engineers. As our new colleague you are already able to take full ownership of large size sealing systems focusing on the bearing application for slewbearings, Tappered roller bearings and SRB.

The responsibility includes specifying, testing and validating supplier products as well as contributing to high quality system designs.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Define base for safe guarding optimum system design and material selection
  • Undertake/lead test and research programs to document system performance
  • Create and update system specifications
  • Review supplier designs and suggestions
  • Be key technical contact point for relevant sub suppliers
  • Be solution owner for sealing in product development projects

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You are most likely a mechanical Engineer (B.Sc. or M.Sc) with experience from mechanical transmission, hydraulics, general mechanical design or maybe polymers
  • You have a special interest and/or know how in sealing systems
  • You are eager to learn and develop within this field of expertise
  • You are outgoing and process-oriented, and you are capable of working independently as well as in a team
  • You are structured and innovative, and your approach to task solving is both technically sound and commercially viable
  • You have the ability to interact at all levels in a dynamic environment
  • You possess strong communication and English skills - both orally and in writing 

Some travel activities must be expected in connection with qualification and development of suppliers.
