What do we offer?
In this role, you join an innovative environment focusing on state-of-the-art development of production equipment. You will get to work in a group of specialists that improve how we build and design assembly lines and production equipment. We decide which equipment our colleagues will get to use at Grundfos production sites around the world.

In this key role, you will get to focus on the development of new products, production equipment and new processes and set the standard for our use of simulation. By doing so, you influence how Grundfos will work on the development of production equipment.

What is the job about?

As a digital simulation engineer, you enter our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team. Here, you will collaborate closely with project managers and process specialists, who focus on implementing new products and processes with the area of manufacturing. Your job is to develop our use of simulation and implement the tools we need to work with simulation. But you will also support with hands-on in designing assembly lines, components and new equipment via simulation projects.

More specifically, you:

  • Define processes to support the use of simulation tools
  • Drive a global network nurturing the use of simulation inside Operation
  • Introduce and implement new IT tools, which support simulation, and you become a project owner of tools and IT systems
  • Collaboration with the Development department in designing components and equipment
  • Describe and monitor KPI’s linked to our use of simulation

What do you need to apply?
To apply, you need a degree in engineering and knowledge of the mechanical or electronic industry. You have 2+ years of project management experience from a complex, global context. And you speak and write English fluently.

Moreover, you have relevant experience with simulation, and you are a super user of CAD and simulation tools (we use Catia and Delmia from Dassault Systèmes).

At the same time, you have the people skills to establish strong working relations across functions, cultures and departments. You dare to question our setup and the way we build our assembly lines, just as you are all in on helping to define the future collaboration between AME Projects, IT, Development and Operations.
