Are you an expert in optimizing supply chain processes? Then this is a career opportunity for you!
We are looking for a Project Manager to drive cross-functional optimization projects related to the supply chain operations. You can look forward to a hands-on position cooperating with a crowd of stakeholders to enable MAN Diesel & Turbo to meet sales objectives while maintaining stable and efficient supply. The projects range from one-off optimization activities to redefinition of regular processes and include both changing human behaviors as well as the IT systems supporting them. Collaboration with other members of the supply chain, production, sourcing, and sales teams is essential to achieve these sales and service objectives, and so is the deep understanding of company processes and the keen interested in improving them.
Job description
Main responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Co-define the supply chain processes and division of responsivities among the supply chain, sales, production and sourcing
- Translating the complexity of production and planning environments into simple and implementable suggestions for improvements
- Coordinating, driving and supporting selected projects within the Supply Chain area
- Supporting processes of Sales & Operation Planning, including tactical Capacity Planning and New Product Introduction
Profile/Qualifications
The position has a wide range of stakeholders to interact with and is an excellent opportunity for a person with the right combination of analytical and verbal skills, most notably.
Personality traits:
- Keen interest in optimizing a complex supply chain
- Energy and stamina to introduce change in a complex environment
- Motivation and independence complemented by a strong problem solving attitude
- An ability to understand and communicate problems both from a detailed, operational perspective as well as in a brief, overview format
- Social and friendly attitude
Experience and skills:
- Relevant project management experience from a large organization with a complex structure
- Experience in SAP R/3
- Analytical and problem solving skills with practical business acumen
- Proficiency in in Excel, Microsoft SQL server and OLAP data cubes or a similar system is a strong advantage
- Previous experience from consultancy business is an advantage
- At least understanding of both English and Danish
