JENSEN Denmark A/S is looking for the right person to lead the development of our software platform, as well as the competences of our programmers at our factory on Bornholm.

As software manager at JENSEN Denmark A/S you will become the manager of a dedicated group of people working with automation of laundry machinery in an international environment.

With reference to the Product Development Manager our new colleague will be given the responsibility of the following tasks:

  • Ensuring the cooperation and coordination between the product development department and our sales department
  • Coordination of tasks across functions internally in JENSEN Denmark A/S and to JENSEN-GROUP Automation Team.
  • Translating customer requirements into functional descriptions for internal use and for use for subsuppliers of software
  • Ensuring the correct quality of the delivered software and that it lives up to our customers' expectations
  • Ensuring that knowledge is shared across software functions
  • Initiating training and development of the software engineers
  • Supporting our project management team
  • Leading our internal coordination team and the internal Software Product Board
  • Participating in meetings with our customers worldwide
  • Having responsibility for the automation hardware used at JENSEN Denmark
  • Cooperating closely with our purchase department and JENSEN-GROUP Automation Team when choosing new automation hardware
  • Having responsibility for implementing new automation hardware in our machines

Your profile

  • Strong communicator in both spoken and written language at least in English and Danish
  • Relevant education and experience with automation, software development and software architecture
  • In best case experience with programming of: PLC, HTML, C and general automation solutions
  • Teambuilder and team player with a hands-on attitude
  • Good at cooperating with other people as well as working in project and cross functional teams
  • Customer orientated and dedicated to serve our customers around the world
  • Good at maintaning focus in a busy workday with many different tasks
  • Having leadership experience within software teams is an advantage
  • Able to travel 50-100 days a year if required
