The Dairy segment is on a stable growth curve with further potential to unfold in the years to come. As such dairy is one of the designated key strategic areas within the GEA business. The primary focus of the Rebuild Group is to facilitate mid-life updates, upgrades and incise capacity for existing customers. This is done in close cooperation with our sales department. The position offers significant influence on the development of the project organization. As PGM you will be a vital part of the department, securing project delivery towards our customers You need to be in good shape

To manage a project group in the APC-Dairy Powders - rebuild group you will be responsible for budgets of 0-50 million DKK. Your direct team will consist of about 10 highly skilled Project Engineers, PMs, Senior PMs and Project Assistants. Here you need to maintain a high level of motivation and act as consultant and coach to team members. Amongst other things, you need to secure professional and personal development of team members and securing that all necessary competencies are available. Furthermore, you need to support a healthy work-life-balance. On the practical side, you will approximately be spending 40-60 nights a year on business trips.

Your everyday tasks and assignments
Participation is a keyword in GEA. You will actively optimize our business and processes by participating in sales projects and secure correct technical solution and give relevant sales support

When all other fails you will also participate in technical solutions, including approval of technical specification, troubleshooting and act as a sparring partner on technics and project execution.

On a monthly basis, you need to follow up on all projects including budget, invoicing, payments from customers, progress rest of year and evaluate risks. By doing so you secure an optimal project and stakeholder management.

Who are you
You are an experienced manager with a solid track record as Project Manager for complex technical projects. You have a technical university degree, most likely in a relevant engineering field. It will be an advantage if you already have knowledge from the dairy business.

You are motivated by managing both people and business and thrive in a fast-paced customer oriented work environment. You have strong analytical skills and aptitude for and strategic thinking. You have documented experience in the ability to translate the conceptual aspects into practical actions and motivate people to walk the talk.

You are able and comfortable - to delegate, and strike a good balance between coaching and directing. You advocate a service-oriented work style with a focus on customers - without losing the economic and strategic goal for the Group. Overall you are systematic and structured with your own work and give clear goals and freedom to your employees.
