Parts/ Quality Engineer

Job description
As a Parts/Quality Engineer, you will be a key person inside the organization and work across all projects. On an annual basis, you will be involved in 10-15 projects, where you will be an active player in ensuring that parts are handled and supervising that procedures are followed consistently and in line with customer’s quality requirements. During the entire project lifecycle you will have a close relationship to the design team and our production facilities in US. 

In your new role you will:

• Be responsible for the parts engineering, and maintenance of the parts database.
• Establish Parts Approval Documents and ensure the integrity of requirements.
• Supervise and support project and design reviews.
• Review Customer Requirements.
• Establish and/or review Source Control Documents.
• Participate in customer meetings and reviews.
• Establish and maintain quality procedures.
• Drive handling of non-conformances and corrective actions under engineering organization responsibility, including reporting to external customer.
• Perform internal audits.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• An Engineering degree in Electronics at Bachelor level as a minimum.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with parts engineering.
• Familiar with component specification and standards.
• Structured working style, goal oriented and take the initiative.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001.
• Prior experience with high reliability electronics is a plus.
