Energy Management System Expert - EMS Expert

Join us and become EMS Expert in our internal startup Energy as a Service, which offers radical new and unique energy solutions to our customers, supporting their journey towards an optimised and sustainable energy future, enabling them to benefit from the green energy transformation. The startup is part of our international Sales B2B unit, which has +350 employees working out of eight office locations in Denmark, Sweden, Germany and the UK.

The department is part of Distribution & Customer Solutions which has 1,400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We handle the production from our wind farms and oil and gas fields to the energy exchanges and customers in Northern Europe, and we distribute electricity and natural gas to businesses and private customers in Denmark.

You will be based at our office in Virum in the greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work.

Your key tasks will be to 

• be one of the key drivers of the transformation of our current B2B business into a digital industry leader 
• be responsible for defining the digitisation strategy for Energy as a Service, as well as leading the implementation through transformation initiatives and projects to provide a best-in-class energy management system as the future platform for superior customer experience, improved operational efficiency and generation of new revenue streams  
• be a leadership role model for Energy as a Service and ensure that we embrace digitisation in every aspect of our business 
• be responsible for increasing our presence in all touchpoints with our customers, both current and new, as well as being responsible for developing a full-scale information architecture and operational model to support the future Energy as a Service business 
• maintain close working relations with many internal and external stakeholders, including external partners, our Sales B2B organisation and our Group IT department. 

Furthermore, your key tasks will include recommending digital business models and technology trends, designing end2end digital business processes (internal/external) and enterprise architecture for EaaS, developing a digitisation roadmap for best-in-class EMS systems as well as engaging with strategic accounts (customers), managing internal and external partners/suppliers, promoting digitisation throughout B2B/DCS and externally, and participating as SteerCom member in all digitisation projects.

Your qualifications and core competences include that you 

• have a master's degree in IT or similar 
• have several years of experience from working in a corporate context and with complex IT environments 
• have a deep insight into digital business models and technology trends, have solid knowledge and understanding of the B2B business and have a strong track record of successful digital transformation 
• are technology-savvy, being familiar with several of the following areas: EMS systems, enterprise architecture, big data analytics, IoT, cyber security, omnipresent user experience and legacy/back office integration 
• speak and write English fluently.

You are extremely customer-oriented and highly result-focused as well as being persistent with a holistic view on potential solutions and a strong focus on details. You are charismatic, empathic and trusting, and you share our business ethics and values.
