Scrum Master for agile software teams

3Shape develops and manufactures market-leading 3D scanners and 3D software for dentistry. Over the past 4 years we have experienced massive growth, driven in large by our revolutionary TRIOS intraoral 3D scanner and its optimized scanning, software and digital workflow solutions.

We are now looking for a passionate Scrum Master for two TRIOS software teams. The two self-managed teams are responsible for our scanning application that handles live 3D data from the intraoral scanner. As a Scrum Master, your primary responsibility will be to help the teams achieve their goals by teaching, coaching and supporting agile principles and practices.

Your responsibilities
You will join a team of highly skilled colleagues already familiar with Scrum and agile development processes. As the teams’ servant leader, you are responsible for exhibiting agile leadership, facilitate meetings, remove impediments, work closely together with Product Owners, … and basically help the teams do the best they possibly can.

As the new Scrum Master in TRIOS Software you understand the need for relentless improvements in the teams. Being curious by nature you are eager to experiment with new practices to see what works better, realizing of course that a team having fun achieves the best results.

One of the teams is collocated in Copenhagen while the other is distributed between Copenhagen and 3Shape’s R&D site in Ukraine. We meet daily at standup and visit each other in Copenhagen and Kiev for workshops and to improve teamwork further.

We have chosen to organize the development teams in projects where a Project Manager is responsible for long-term coordination as well as communication and documentation required for medical device development. You will work closely together with the Project Manager towards delivering the best intraoral 3D scanner on the market.

Your profile
Successful candidates should master the following qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Experience as Scrum Master and excited to teach and coach agile principles and practices
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, and eager to use it within the team
• You are ambitious and continuously strive to improve
• You are passionate about working in an Agile environment where trust, collaboration, responding to change, and having fun is key

You may have additional qualifications that are useful when developing medical devices, e.g. experience as software developer (we use C# / .Net development) or experience / interest in project management.
