Developing world class IT solutions
Every day, Getinge Group’s innovative products contribute to save lives and ensure excellent care. Across the world, we make a huge difference for patients, health care professionals and societies - and we are very proud of that. As a key part of the success of Getinge Group, the Integrated Workflow Solutions (IWS) organization globally offers a range of best in class software-based solutions to customers.

With headquarters in Amaliegade, central Copenhagen, IWS develops T-DOC - a world leading system for traceability and documentation of sterile instruments. T-DOC is a mixture between an ERP system, a production control system, a workflow control system, a documentation system, and a tracking system. The system is an essential part of providing sterile goods for operations in more than 1250 hospitals worldwide.

Take part in an interesting and developing journey with competent colleagues
The Integrated Workflow Solutions team of more than 100 software development experts (half in Denmark) is currently on a very exciting journey of growth and development, improving the IWS products within Sterile Goods Management and the integration between the IWS solutions.

As Software Architect, you will be involved in all aspects of the development process. You will be responsible for creating new features, expanding existing functionality and migrating existing functionality to a new architecture as well as integration between our various IT solutions. You will do this as part of the Architecture & Design team consisting of eight people, working closely with the Research & Development teams.

Your primary work tasks will include:

  • Designing and specifying new features for IWS products
  • Extracting and validating requirements
  • Provide input to UX designers
  • Mentoring and facilitating developers during implementation
  • Follow up on the work made by both the local and offshore developer teams
  • Provide “conceptual” code, when required
  • Contribute to company-wide innovation
  • Specialize your qualifications in certain areas and function of IWS products
  • Provide guidance to the software test team

Dedicated team player with architectural and programming skills
You have experience in programming and designing high quality software solutions for the Windows platform (you think C#, C++ or Delphi/Pascal is just a matter of syntax), and we would expect that you are also experienced with product development interacting with relational databases / SQL. It is an advantage, if you have experience with designing software integrations and knowledge of interfacing systems using standards such as REST/JSON, but this is not a must.

You are most likely already working as an architect (or senior developer/team lead), and you are ready to work with the design of both software applications and system integration. The title is not important, but you have the ability and willingness to think abstract when designing software, along with the desire and interest to develop your skills within architecture.

We also expect you to be excellent in communicating in English - both written and spoken.

On top of this you have a sincere interest in IT technology - you follow technology trends, try them out, and have a genuine interest in and a deep understanding of systems and how to connect all the dots in a workflow.
