Responsible for MATLAB and MATLAB tools

FOSS is known throughout the world for innovative analytical instruments that help to improve both food quality and safety in the global food market. FOSS R&D is now looking for a new employee for a challenging position in our dedicated Chemometric Development Team, Data & Algorithms (DnA).

The job
As responsible for MATLAB and MATLAB tools, you will keep the team updated of new versions of MATLAB and make sure all functions are regularly updated. You will also establish a system for validation/optimisation of code and structure in our source control system (TFS).

Based in Data & Algorithms (DnA), you will be working closely together with the team to develop MATLAB tools. You will support the whole team with MATLAB as well as handle MATLAB licenses in collaboration with IT.

Your primary tasks will be:

• Keeping MATLAB code updated to the most recent version
• Maintaining compiled MATLAB code for production tests
• Collaboration with our software team
• Support to project DnA chemometricians
• MATLAB license management in collaboration with our IT department

Qualifications
You hold a Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline, for example Mathematics. You are fluent in Danish and English both written and spoken.

To succeed in the job, you need to have solid experience with MATLAB, programming and TFS. You have excellent math competencies, experience with data analysis and algorithm development.

You have gained experience with some of the following:

• MATLAB
• C#/C++
• Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Chemometrics
• Machine learning
• Data base systems
• Image analysis
• Familiar with the following techniques: Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Partial Least Squares (PLS) regression, Artificial Neural Networks (ANN)
