Are you highly skilled in testing, validation and documentation of production equipment? Are you motivated by communicating with stakeholders and responding to many different demands at the same time? Then you could be our new Senior Engineer at Process Technology in Danfoss Industrial Automation. You will be part of a small team based in Nordborg, and you will report to the Process Technology Director.
Plan - Do - Check - Act
As Senior Process Engineer, you will independently handle lots of different smaller and larger projects, such as being the supply chain core team representative in project development projects. You will be responsible for supply chain project milestone deliverables and provide documentation to our quality management system (TS16949).
Your tasks will include:
- Test and validation of production equipment
- Implementation of new production equipment
- Hand over to production
- Variable cost calculations
Your success will depend on your ability and fortitude to challenge current state by bringing all your skills from High Volume Manufacturing into play, and always aiming for quality and the best solutions. If you succeed in doing this, you will be given plenty of opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.
The position currently entails approx.15-20 travelling days/year, but this might increase depending on the person hired and the future sharing of tasks in the team.
Self-driven engineer with strong technical production skills
Your background is a Bachelor or Master in Science and you have at least a few years’ working experience, preferably from mechatronic high volume production. You have TS16949 knowledge and are familiar with Six Sigma tools. You are also experienced in equipment specification and software tools for statistic handling, e.g. MiniTab. On a more personal level, you have a systematic mind-set that enables you to perform analytical evaluations, and you have the drive and persistency to achieve your goals. At the same time, you are open-minded with solid cooperation skills and the ability to communicate with all levels in the organisation. Fluency in written and spoken English is a prerequisite and basic knowledge of Danish an advantage. Applications in both English and Danish will be accepted.
