Join a world-class development environment. Here, you will work in an agile environment alongside talented developers in a newly established team on the rise. You will work with advanced ultralow power communication systems applied in medical devices - which means your work will make a world of a difference to people across the globe.

”Our hardware may be small, but we develop unique, complex solutions with a high level of functionality”, says Leon Jørgensen, Embedded Software Team Lead.

Develop advanced wireless communication systems
You will join one of the most innovative and fast growing companies in our business. Working in an agile environment, you will contribute to the development of embedded software for our hearing aids and accessories, and you are part of the process from defining requirements over design and implementation to testing and documentation.

Work on innovative solutions
We offer you the chance to work on a range of new challenging product development projects within hearing solutions. Here, you will be involved in all project phases - from startup until delivery. Within this framework, your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Understand and define requirements
  • Break down and estimate requirements
  • Implement, test and verify requirements
  • Deliver documentation on different levels: quality, test and implementation

Collaborate with highly skilled colleagues

You join a team of 14 talented software experts. To us, collaboration is key, and we are working more and more towards joined deliveries to various Widex projects. Relying on a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds, we pool our knowledge in order to remain pioneers in our business and always put our customers first.

Join an agile environment
We organize our work according the principles of SCRUM with sprints and stand-up meetings, where you get the chance to share challenges and recommendations with your colleagues. Reviewing our own code - and the work of our colleagues - is an integrated part of our process. In our approach, documenting and describing our process helps us write structured and object-oriented code.

What does it take?
First of all, you have a relevant technical education combined with experience within design, implementation, test and verification of embedded device software. As our software is so closely connected to the hardware, you need a good understanding on the area between hardware and software.

Moreover, you have:

  • excellent programming skills - particular in C
  • knowledge of C++ and object-oriented programming
  • experience in system design with hard and soft real time requirements
  • experience with automatic tests on different levels
  • strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written
