Assistant Design Manager

We have a new opportunity for an Assistant Design Manager for our office in Copenhagen. The candidate should expect to be posted to either the buildings or infrastructure group depending on project demands. Reporting to a Senior Project Manager and Group Leader, you will be responsible for a variety of project management activities with an emphasis on design management and project control.
 
Your Responsibilities

• Assisting in design and project management and coordination, ensuring efficient communication across the project team.
• Develop and implement project plans, programmes, project processes, project risks and project performance in accordance with internal management systems.
• Implement project planning objectives in relation to project reviews, project quality, training and procedures.
• Assisting in developing and managing project budgets, preparing project forecasts, analysing data and identifying areas for financial improvement.
• Support business development by developing pre-qualifications and tenders.

 
Your Competences
It is essential that you possess strong written and verbal Danish communication skills as well as a flexible and team orientated approach. Strong analytical skills and a pro-active methodical mind-set are essential for success within this detail-orientated environment. You will have an engineering or architectural degree and at least 3 years’ working experience, but with a keen interest in developing your project management skills and following a project management career path. Knowledge of programming software e.g. Microsoft Project will be beneficial.
