Product System Specialist - global template management

If your background comprises a combination of basic microbiological knowledge and solid IT-system skills, this is the perfect job for you. As Product System Specialist you will become responsible for template management of labels and standard documentation - in our global production setup with more than 1,200 products in the Food Cultures and Enzymes business unit. Manage our label and documentation setup and deliver valuable support to the business  
You will have two main focus areas. One is to ensure that the business needs are met in the documentation Chr. Hansen provides. The other is to provide customers with answers to product related questions. In the first part of your job, you will manage multiple templates that are undergoing constant changes due to new legislation and customer requirements. As such, you will experience requests for changes/development of new templates. To succeed, you must apply a holistic approach to the potential consequences of each request.

 

Your tasks will be to:   

  • Manage label and standard documentation templates  
  • Assist with overall system maintenance, development, upgrades and tests of the systems  
  • Develop system related manuals and Standard Operational Procedure (SOP’s)  
  • Be part of project teams in various business critical projects  
  • Manage various product related questions in our helpdesk mailbox  

 
In the second part of your job, you will spend approx. 30 % of your time delivering business support by handling questions from Global Sales and local Business Support colleagues (helpdesk mailbox). The answers you will often find via dialogue with specialists in the global Chr. Hansen organization. This will also help you to build valuable product knowledge and strengthen your business acumen.  
 
Microbiological understanding and solid IT-skills  
You have a university degree within natural science e.g. dairy, food science or the like providing you a good basic microbiological understanding. This is backed by at least one years’ experience from a job where you have worked with documentation and related IT-systems. This has taught you, that you are good at and motivated for working with various IT-systems. Additionally, you can use your understanding of data structures to apply changes in a smart and logical way across different systems and templates.  
 
As you will work with business critical documentation you must have solid analytical skills and a keen eye for details. At the same time you must thrive on being in contact with multiple people every day and have the ability to evaluate requests and say no when necessary. You also have the energy and drive to handle a fast paced workday with many deadlines, tasks and meetings. Finally, you must bring a strong command of English, written and spoken.  
 
Global Business Support - your new team  
You will join an international team of 5 skilled and dedicated colleagues based at Chr. Hansen’s headquarters approx. 30 minutes north of the Copenhagen city center. Together, we deliver marketing and sales support and ensure that Chr. Hansen’s products are in compliance with customer and legal requirements globally. We have a good team spirit characterized by collaboration, helpfulness and knowledge sharing.
