Position Summary
Struers is looking for a dedicated, professional and ambitious Area Sales Manager with focus on developing Struers Distributor Sales Channels in some selected markets. Struers is looking for a candidate with huge appetite to prove himself/herself by motivating, supporting and driving Distributors across diverse cultures to deliver profitable growth.

Operational Responsibilities and Duties

  • Daily contact and coaching of the distributors.
  • Support and assist in training of Struers Distributors as an example The Professional Materialographer (TPM) and modules for Struers Academy.
  • Actively support the distributor markets with the local activities, e.g. seminars, workshops and joint customer visits.
  • Identify the market potential and increase market shares at the distributor markets.
  • Maximize the coverage across the market territories and market segments.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Struers business plan at the Distributor markets.
  • Ongoing performance follow-up on the Distributors.
  • Direct Sales activities based on Key Performance Indicators (Monthly operational KPI reporting).

Your Professional and Personal Qualifications

  • You have a technical background combined with commercial skills or education as an Export Engineer.
  • You have a proven record of sales accomplishment with 3-5 years of working experience, ideally within technical B2B sales with a good understanding to value selling.
  • You have strong sales skills using CRM and Sales Funnel Management.
  • Previous experience with Sales through distributors.
  • Good analytical skills and results oriented.
  • Curiosity to learn about Struers products and applications with hands-on interest.
  • You have a structured and organized approach to work.
  • Excellent in execution and follow up is a must.
  • Good communication skills in both spoken and written English. A third language (Spanish and/or Portuguese) will definitely be a plus.
  • Travelling and working with different cultures. The role requires approx. 60-70 days of travel per year.
