Your challenges
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join our dedicated Production Engineering team in Thyregod close to Vejle with the overall responsibility to optimise present and develop future plastic component production processes.
A vital part of your role will be to collaborate with our product development teams in Østbirk, Skjern and Hørsholm, our production company in Poland and external suppliers of tools and plastic components.
Your primary tasks will be to:
- Perform maturing of injection moulding parts in collaboration with suppliers
- Purchase and develop injection moulding tools in collaboration with suppliers
- Coordinate technical projects with local and international collaboration partners
- Search for and develop new production methods for plastic components
- Support the production and suppliers in case of tool break down or renovation
- Update our tool documentation
As you will collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organisation you must expect 15-30 travel days per year primarily in Europe.
Your qualifications
We imagine that you have a background within plastic production and/or construction as a toolmaker, machinist, constructor or engineer. It is a prerequisite that you have experience with construction of injection moulding tools, maturing of plastic components and purchase of injection moulding tools. If you also have experience with SolidWorks and Moldex it will definitely be a plus
Furthermore, you enjoy working with complex product and tool constructions. You are result-oriented, persistent and do not let go of the task until it has been satisfactorily completed.
You are a team player with a strong drive, getting your energy from short deadlines and achieving results in close collaboration with colleagues from different parts of the organisation. You dare to challenge the existing and making own opinions known in a solution oriented way – always with a focus on how to create value for the business.
Competencies such as excellent interpersonal skills are imperative including the ability to communicate and involve yourself in different levels of the organisation. In addition, it is important that you feel comfortable in an extrovert role and that working cross-functionally motivates you.
Familiarity with technical English both written and spoken is necessary.
