Project Developer

Are you an ambitious engineer with a commercial mind set who wants to be part of the roll out of our REnescience waste treatment technology globally?

Join us and become Project Developer in our Projects department in New Bio Solutions. The Department is responsible for developing and executing asset projects as well as running our product line development programme. You will be supporting our Sales department with development of customised project solutions for customers globally.

In New Bio Solution we are responsible for pursuing new growth within bioenergy. REnescience is an innovative new technology within waste recycling. Our goal is to be the leader within sustainable, efficient and intelligent use of the resources in waste from households, farming and forest.

Projects is part of Bioenergy & Thermal Power which has 800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We own just below half of the thermal production capacity in Denmark and are at the forefront of the development within efficient use of biomass and reduction of the environmental impact through innovative bio-refining technologies.  

You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work.

Your key tasks will be to 

• handle request from our Sales department and customers regarding specific sales projects 
• be responsible for developing customised technical solutions for the sales projects 
• participate in customer meetings and internal evaluations of the offered solutions 
• develop marked knowledge regarding competitors and trends in the waste handling industry. 

The key success criteria is to develop customised solutions, fulfilling the needs of the customer in order to facilitate sales of REnescience projects globally.

Your qualifications and core competences include that you 

• have a degree in engineering 
• have experience participating in sales of complex technical solutions 
• have a commercial and customer orientated mind set 
• have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks 
• thrive in an international environment and are able to create good relationships with your stakeholders 
• speak and write English fluently.
