Production Technologist / Marine Engineer - to support the implementation of the RDS-PP code system

For our Business Systems and Master Data team in Technology we are looking for a Production Technologist / Engineer to support the definition and implementation of the RDS-PP (Reference Designation System Power Plant) code system. You will be a part of the Master Data team of 13 dedicated colleagues.  As a RDS-PP specialist you will depend on building an extensive network within Siemens Wind Power, as your tasks require cross organizational cooperation.
 
What are my responsibilities?
Your tasks will be: 

• Be a part of the RDS-PP governance function
• Define RDS-PP codes for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components using the different standards/guidelines
• Support RDS-PP implementation in Siemens Wind Power across the whole value chain
• Facilitate workshops, forums and network meetings
• Develop relevant training material and conduct internal and external trainings
• Aligning coding structures with internal/external stakeholders
• Develop and maintain the RDS-PP homepage 

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• You have a background as an AP Graduate in Production Technology, Marine Engineer or Technician combined with 2-3 years of relevant experience
• You have an interest in learning and understanding the detailed functions of a wind turbine as this knowledge is the foundation for RDS-PP coding
• It is a requirement that you have experience in working with complex BOM structures
• Knowledge of RDS-PP, ISO 81346, ERP systems as SAP and Teamcenter is an advantage
• You are proactive, extrovert and self-driven
• You have a good sense of humour and a dedicated and structured approach to your tasks
• You are flexible and able to work independently
• You are able to keep a sense of perspective and to act determined in a hectic work environment
• You thrive in an international environment and you possess good English skills orally as well as written
