Program Manager to drive improvement projects

Are you an ambitious engineer who wants to play an active role in the global expansion of a revolutionary industrial technology handling household waste?

Join us and become Program Manager in New Bio Solutions (NBS) - a part of Bioenergy and Thermal Power, where you will be responsible for running improvement programs across NBS against an ambitious cost-out target and increase of recycling rate. You will be part of our REnescience technology which is a proprietary technology owned by DONG Energy which handles large amounts of household waste through application of enzymes with the aim to recycle most of the materials and the production of energy either in form of biogas or electricity.

You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work.

You are energised by 

• handling a large amount of internal relations across the organisation 
• being responsible for driving improvement projects across functional areas 
• identifying new areas of potential optimisation 
• leading, supporting and motivating the project team participants 
• reporting to the Vice President of NBS and presenting project progress to the senior management team of NBS.

Your competences include that you 

• have as minimum a bachelor’s degree in engineering 
• have some years of experience in running improvement projects across different organisational functions 
• have a strong drive for optimisation and for delivering results 
• have knowledge of industrial plants business and within the waste industry, renewables, enzymes or strong interest in learning new technologies 
• possess strong, proactive and flexible networking skills 
• are able to engage and motivate people - involvement of key contributors is essential and a natural part of your mindset 
• have strong presentation and communications skills - verbally and in writing 
• speak and write English fluently.
