Your challenges
You will be part of the Care & Cost Product Master data team responsible for creating and maintaining all product master data and bill of material for all production plants n the global manufacturing set up in the VELUX Group. Product Master data is the pivot in defining the manufacturing bill of material in close cooperation with product developers and our production plants.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of 14 dedicated colleagues and be responsible for prioritisation of supports to projects and task. We expect you to focus on leading and developing the team and leverage the individual’s potential. In addition, you will align the interfaces and collaboration with Product Development, Central Planning and our Production plants.
We are in process of implementing PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) which will change the way we handle product master data and bill of material. You will play a key role in driving the change and competence development when your team is going from using SAP as the main tool to Windchill PLM.
Apart from the above we further want to standardise the way we work in Product Master data. Collaborating with the team and finding the best solutions, we expect you to drive this standardisation process.
The team is placed in Østbirk and Skjern in Denmark and we expect you to be present at both locations during the week. Whether you prefer to be located in Østbirk or in Skjern is open for discussion.
Your qualifications
Your educational background could be multiple. More importantly is that we are looking for a person with experience in within Master data and SAP. As we are in the process of implementing Windchill PLM knowledge within this field will definitely be a plus. Experience from leading a team or from project management is required.
You are good at establishing and maintaining relations, a good listener and you know how to motivate and leverage the potential in your team.
On a personal level you have a constructive and open minded approach, yet you are firm and aware of what it takes to deliver quality in what we do. You see yourself as a flexible person with a healthy sense of humor. People describe you as a person good at keeping deadlines, with the ability to take responsibility and with the needed initiative to make sure we deliver high quality in all solutions.
Competencies such as strong communication skills are ‘a must’ and you collaborate easily with people around you. As you will engage with stakeholders throughout our organisation, you must be fluent in English both orally and in writing.
