Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated, competent and forward thinking PC software design engineer to further strengthen our R&D group. As an PC Software design engineer in INVISIO, you will work in cross functional project groups that takes the development task from product definition to market introduction. You will participate in the development of our first-generation Windows PC platform used to interface and control our portable audio products. The job includes all facets of product development such as specification, design, coding, testing, documentation and maintenance. You will work on all levels from SW architecture to coding details and will work with- and utilize ex. WPF, WCF, Azure, XAML, MVVM, SQL server, GIT etc.

Technical Skills and Competencies
You may have a few years of experience from a high-tech company making PC applications under MS Windows which are designed to interface with physical devices or equipment. To succeed in the job you hold an Engineering degree in SW development or equivalent. Furthermore, you:

• Have broad skillset in PC application design and coding under Windows
• Have designed PC applications to interface and control devices, machinery or equivalent
• Have worked in a company that develops not only SW products
• Have solid experience in C# and XAML.
• Know MS Visual Studio in-and- out and have a general knowledge of Microsoft technology
• Have made user interface design for technical applications running under Windows
• May have experience in application development for portable devices (Android and iOS)
• May have worked with audio and audio products
• May have used version control systems such as GIT
• Have excellent skills in oral and written English
• Can understand Scandinavian languages (useful)
