Join us and become Asset Integrity Specialist (Structural) in the Mechanical & Structural department which is responsible for ensuring optimal operation and maintenance of offshore structures. The team defines and updates all maintenance programs related to the structures on our offshore wind farms including wind turbine supporting structures and wind turbine structural elements. Furthermore, the team evaluates the results of all maintenance and inspections ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive actions are completed. These steps enable the team to secure asset integrity throughout the fleet of offshore wind farms.
Mechanical & Structural is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe.
You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work.
Your key tasks will be to
- maintain an overview of asset integrity of offshore sites
- ensure that the optimal inspection scheme is implemented on sites
- ensure that integrity findings are captured and communicated to relevant parties
- ensure that any corrective actions are implemented on site.
As Asset Integrity Specialist you will take the main responsiblity for several offshore wind farms. You will use your technical skills to ensure a complete overview of those sites. This overview will be used to ensure that the sites are operated with the optimal OPEX while maintaining the required integrity.
Your qualifications and core competences include that you
- have a bachelor’s or master's degree in structural engineering
- have experience with the design or inspection of offshore structures
- have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks
- speak and write English fluently.
It will be viewed as an advantage, if you have experience from the wind turbine industry, and if your speak and write Danish fluently.
