Senior IT Architect

Can you leverage your extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure to be the link between business projects and infrastructure deliveries? 

Join us and become Senior IT Architect in the Infrastructure Architecture & Delivery team, which is responsible for design, cost calculations and coordination of deliveries from the other teams within the Infrastructure & Operations department. 

Infrastructure Architecture & Delivery is part of our Group functions which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group IT, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company. 

You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect 5-10 days of travel per year. 

Your key tasks will be to 

• participate in developing our architecture standards 
• continuously take part in optimising processes internally in our department and towards stakeholders 
• be a flexible colleague willing to chip in where competences and necessity requires you to. 

Your main job will be to participate in projects as the person bridging business requirements and vendor specifications while still upholding our infrastructure standards. Once the project moves into the execution phase, you will be the liaison between the project and the infrastructure department ensuring that we deliver on time and on budget. Lastly, you will be the one responsible for ensuring proper handover to operation, including verifying that all project deliveries are in place so we can ensure a stable operation. 

Your qualifications and core competences include that you 

• have either a formal training at master’s level within the field of IT or a similar proven record of accomplishments 
• are familiar with most of the common infrastructure technologies as well as enterprise architecture, and you have hands on experience with IT infrastructure operations 
• are able to combine IT with business projects and act as central point between IT and the business. 

Other important qualities include that you are able to execute and get things done, and get others to do what is expected of them. You are robust, as you will be involved in many projects in parallel. In addition, you are service minded and eager to deliver the best customer experience.
