Job Description

As Project engineer, you are involved in all the stages of our Marine projects from proposal to completion. You actively participate in the technical selection, planning and execution following the Customer’s and Marine Class requirements.

In this role, you:

  • Interact with customers, production, service, sales and suppliers during the different project stages
  • Study product design, customer requirements and performance standards to determine Marine system specifications.
  • Present cost estimates and timeline of the project.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications and documentation in close collaboration with the technical manager.
  • Participate in Internal Project reviews and in Factory Acceptance Tests including Marine Classification Societies approvals.

In this position, you are part of the engineering team and report to the Technical manager.

Experience requirements

  • Experience in similar position in another company is seen as a great advantage
  • Knowledge or experience of the Marine industry and its best practices, Nitrogen systems, compressors, air treatment etc. is seen as a great advantage
  • Some experience in project management
  • You are comfortable with technical calculations and you enjoy participating to all projects activities from conception to completion.

Educational requirements

You have a background as a Marine Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar through experience.

  • You have knowledge of drawing in Autocad.
  • You have solid IT skills - MS Office
  • You speak and write English and Danish fluently.

Additional information
You will typically participate in 3-4 projects simultaneously, and you can expect to travel less than 10 days a year in connection to projects.
