Lead Quality Consultant

Would you like to help us implement our new quality strategy and improve our quality awareness and culture in Wind Power?

Join us and become Lead Quality Consultant in the Quality Management department, which is responsible for process excellence and quality management systems in Wind Power. You will become part of a team of quality and process consultants, focused on improving our quality management systems and supporting Wind Power’s journey towards quality excellence. As Lead Quality Consultant, you will be assigned to cross-functional strategic projects and support the organisation in activities related to process and quality excellence.

Quality Management is part of Wind Power, which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe.

You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work.

Your key tasks will be to 

• be part of the core team working with the preparation of ISO 9001 certification 
• lead and conduct audits and assessments across Wind Power 
• support implementation and anchoring of new quality management and case handling systems 
• identify and lead development of metrics and KPIs for monitoring our quality performance 
• identify and lead initiatives to create and support a strong cross-functional quality community in Wind Power.

Moreover, you should participate and influence the development of quality campaigns, training and communication activities to enhance our quality awareness in Wind Power. You will maintain, develop and implement our quality policies, processes, tools and templates owned by the Quality Management department, and support our business with process excellence skills, drive workshops and process improvement initiatives and projects.

In addition, you will be part of a newly established function and you will be expected to participate in developing the function to become a strong value-adding asset in Wind Power.

Your qualifications and core competences include that you 

• have a master's degree or similar within a technical or engineering discipline 
• have extensive experience as quality manager, specialist or consultant, preferably from a major construction company, including implementation of a quality management system 
• are an experienced ISO 9001 Lead Auditor 
• have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks 
• speak and write English fluently 
• thrive in an international environment with the ability to create good relationships with your stakeholders.

We are preparing for ISO 9001 certification, and it is therefore vital that you have experience in implementation of ISO 9001 in large organisations. In addition, it is important that you thrive with facilitating workshops, conducting training activities and giving presentations. You also enjoy interacting with many colleagues at different levels in the organisation and are able to act as a strong quality ambassador.
