Are you a solution oriented technical expert with ability to translate a customer need into a solution and offering? Join our team!
Global Spares Center supports Valmet spare parts sales and operations globally. We are strengthening our Lime Kiln technology knowledge in our Technology Support team in Scandinavia.
As Product Specialist you support our global sales in technical and commercial issues related to lime kiln spare parts.
Work includes identifying and fulfilling customer spare part needs in cooperation with Valmet service team and our external suppliers. As Product Specialist you may occasionally support Sales on customer sites around the world.
You will also participate in product portfolio management.
Requirements:
To be successful in this position, you need to have technical experience especially with Lime Kiln technology. Experience with cooking and recaustisizing technologies is a plus. You are a customer oriented and service minded person with positive "can do" attitude. You need to be a team player, with ability to build your own contact network. Willingness to learn new things and ability to take responsibility are essential in this role.
In addition, to succeed in this position, you should have:
- B.Sc or M.Sc. degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Work experience of service business, engineering or procurement
- Possibility to travel globally occasionally
- Ability to do cost estimates
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
