I nternational project environment
You will be based in Copenhagen and join the Rotary Atomizer group in PTC Drying - Product Engineering. Here, you will get to share office space and collaborate with 7 skilled coworkers all excited to meet you. You will become part of a very international work environment which also means that you will be traveling approximately 10 days per year.

Help maintain and develop our portfolio of rotary atomizers
You have extended knowledge and experience in the design and construction of rotating machinery. As our new Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in the design, maintenance and daily operation of GEA's portfolio of rotary atomizers. Your specific responsibilities will be:

  • Product responsibility
    • Specification of atomizers
    • Support to sales and service departments
    • Maintaining and updating atomizers
    • Keeping atomizer documentation up to date
    • Technical competences & fields of responsibility
      • Design of gears
      • Lube oil systems
      • Bearings
      • CAD (Inventor)
      • GPS
      • Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC)
      • Participation in teams during major product reviews
      • Participation in teams during development of new atomizers
      • Dedicated responsibility for certain QA/QC related tasks (less than 20% of total working time)

You should preferably have experience with:

  • Product commercialization (with regards to documentation)
  • Design of lube oil systems
  • Knowledge in calculations of rolling element bearings and gears
  • Quality assurance and control

You thrive in a project oriented working environment and you enjoy cooperating closely with colleagues and customers. Furthermore, good English language skills, in both speaking and writing is a must.

Educational level: The candidate should hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. within mechanical engineering.
