You step into the “Integrated Controls Mechatronics department” - where mechanics and electronics merge into the development and production of controls for our innovative pump solutions. The organization is relatively new, which has allowed us to gather 10 engineers, technicians and project managers - all specialists within their specific fields. Together, we focus on mechatronic solutions in terms of prototypes as well as the development of production moulds. The latter will be your arena as you unfold your skills to drive and influence Grundfos production technology within composites.

What is the job about?
Your job will be very hands-on as you design and develop new production technologies and equipment for our mechatronic solutions. You will contribute globally for identifying and driving innovation within composite mould design, and a constant in your job will be to contribute to best practice within the area.

Your design processes and projects will typically involve many stakeholders as you:

• carry out trouble shooting in our production
• work with our Electronic Development, Technology & Innovation as well as network with external stakeholders, e.g.
• industry peers, universities and suppliers
• challenge Grundfos “Integrated Controls” on status quo and make strategic recommendations
• ensure knowledge sharing through documentation and training

What do you need to apply?
On a personal level, you pay great attention to detail but also maintain a holistic view, which allows you to follow your design all the way from idea to finished solution. At the same time, you are a great networker who can work across the organization, enjoys variety in tasks and projects and is able to transform business needs and processes into recommendations and great designs. It is all about the end-to-end perspective and your ability to communicate and visualise technical challenges and solutions.

To do so, we imagine that you:

• hold a bachelor’s, master’s or similar degree in engineering, specialising in composite or similar Preferably, you have experience within mechatronics and solid experience from a similar technical position
• have a track record of specifying, developing and designing composite moulds combined with production and process specialist experience
• have experience with a CAD system, preferably Catia
• speak and write English effortlessly
• have experience or interest in simulation driven design
