Product Supply in Natural Colors Division (NCD) is looking for a Global Technology Specialist. The position impacts a global organization, including 6 factories on 4 continents, but will be located in Denmark. 
 
After several years of continuous improvement, we are now strengthening our global effort. By harmonizing and upgrading our global automation platform, we expect to bring our Operations to the next level. We will consolidate our leadership position by improving our process stability and efficiency. 
 
Product Supply is a key lever for supporting the double digit growth in Natural Colors Division. Our ambition is to maintain this strong and ambitious business development. Around 250 engaged and passionate colleagues across the globe are, every day, producing safe and high quality products dedicated to all sectors of the food industry. 
 
Your tasks 
You ensure that the factories in NCD are using the group automation platform and MES systems and that data to and from the production lines are correct. You analyze data to drive continuous improvements and will be the NCD contact to Global Engineering on major projects. 

  • Define and implement system for upgrade of the Production Automation platform (SCADA etc.) globally in cooperation with Global Engineering  
  • Participate in the Automation pre-project and project 
  • Define and implement system for data management and automated OEE  globally  
  • (MES or similar system) in cooperation with Global Engineering 
  • Define and implement a global system for continuous improvements based on data analysis  
  • (Statistical process control, OEE, Root cause analysis etc.) in cooperation with Manufacturing Excellence 
  • Participate in major and strategic CAPEX pre-projects and projects  
  • Carry out product reviews and decrease process variations in order to lower the overconcentration in our products 
  • Evaluate equipment condition and make sure it is up to date 
  • Evaluate ideas and RFA’s on new CAPEX projects 
  • Global contact person to Global Engineering (GE)  

Your professional profile   

  • You hold a MSc in Automation, Engineering, Process Technology or similar 
  • Automation competence within  SCADA, MES, Wonderwear and Allen Bradley, Process Engineering skills, Six Sigma Green belt 
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience from the ingredient or food industry  

Your personal profile   

  • Solid people skills including a demonstrated ability to get things done through people who don’t report to you 
  • Change management competencies 
  • Excellent project management skills including the people factor 
  • Hands-on experience with improvement methodologies such as lean and/or Six Sigma 
  • You have strong communication skills – you are able to get buy-in for your ideas 
  • You are independent and have a strong personality – you are able to decide and act proactively 
  • Structured and analytical mind-set - you build your argumentation on facts 
  • Proficiency in English
