The Offshore Electrical Engineering team plays the key role in relation to the electrical package all the way from project acquisition to final hand over to our customers. We master the details and at the same time we bridge tomorrow’s technologies and methodologies.

We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Manager to strengthen our engineering activities within the projects. The goal is to provide excellent engineering leading to best in class customer satisfaction.

What are my responsibilities?
As an Electrical Engineering Manager, you are responsible for managing the electrical engineering activities in the turbine package. In addition you will utilize your own electrical engineering skills and take part in design activities within the project. You will be involved with back office as well as front line activities finding solutions together with the customer technical representatives. Our work is project driven and you will have a wide scale international interface to clients, suppliers and colleagues.

More specifically, your assignments will cover:

  • Responsibility for engineering of the electrical package in large scale offshore wind turbine projects including input to the installation concept
  • Coordinate and manage deliverables from specialists in the project
  • Interdisciplinary coordination between the Engineering Managers in the project
  • Design, configuration and test of LV and MV systems
  • Initiate procurements and create specifications within the electrical package
  • Continuous verification of project data to suit interfaces and deadlines, internally within project and towards other projects
  • Ensure preparation of documentation is in line with contractual obligations

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • B.Sc.EE or M.Sc.EE (power systems) or similar combined with +5 years of relevant electro technical experience from design and engineering management the wind turbine business or from the offshore, grid operator, power plant, consultancy, manufacturing industries or similar
  • Your personality is characterized as positive, open minded and self-driven enabling you to work with colleagues from multiple cultures in a large international organization
  • You have a proactive approach to knowledge sharing
  • Moreover, you possess good communication skills in English, orally and in writing
  • And most of all, you love the fun and challenges by building the largest wind farms in the world

In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
