Automotive Field Test Engineer (R&D)

Due to increasing activity Amminex Emissions technology (AET) is looking for an engaged field test engineer for our R&D team. AET is a clean-tech company develops and manufactures the Ammonias Storage and Dosing system (ASDS). The ASDS is a system that release Ammonia gas by heating salt containing ammonia, the Ammonia gas is introduced in the exhaust where it removes NOx in the SCR. The system is an alternative to AdBlue, with significant benefits, among other things due to a highly improved temperature operating range. With the system in operation on 300+ busses in EU and far east asia we are diversifying our product to support multiple vehicle sizes and marine vessels and ramp up the volumes. For this we need a field test engineer to ensure we reach the right maturity in real life operation.

Your tasks will be:

• Launching field tests on city busses and other vehicles, including technical and practical planning. Primarily in Copenhagen, but also on other locations.
• Both doing coordination of the tests (communication with operators and mechanics) and doing the practical work when necessary.
• Ensuring that the field experience and results are made available for the R&D team in a structured manner through reporting and datanalysis.
• Continuously improve the test installations in cooperation with the R&D team.
• Also, perform initial tests in our laboratory w. our lab test team

Your skills and background

• Engineer (incl. Maskinmester) with strong knowledge of automobiles and automotive systems
• Good practical and troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of computer systems and measurements.
• Self-motivated and solution oriented with good communication skills.
• Danish proficiency (oral)
