Project Manager, high-end R&D projects

Be part of an expanding R&D with investment in innovation
With reference to the Director Global Project Office, you will be responsible for defining and realising the business impact of your projects. De facto, you will be and act as CEO of your projects, and you will be part of a department in Danfoss that right now expands investments in research and development. You will be working cross-functionally and globally in close collaboration with suppliers, customers and internal functions such as sales, marketing, application engineering, mechanical/electronical/software engineering, procurement, quality and production. The job involves high complexity and communication with many stakeholders and entails 10-20 travelling days per year.
 
Hone your professional and personal skills

• In this department with evolution and high-end products, your key responsibilities will be:
• Leading and managing strategic product development projects from concept to running production and market introduction
• Managing the project according to Danfoss Product Development Program (PDP) processes
• Ensuring time, cost and quality management according to the business case
• Communicating clearly and consistently with stakeholders to secure awareness and transparency
• Participating in customer activities, i.e. around prototypes, field test, qualification for running production and market introduction 

Experienced project manager with ambition and mechatronics background
You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably with a mechatronics background. Furthermore, you have solid experience with product development and project management. You have an excellent understanding of all common project management disciplines, including business case generation, project finances, product life cycle and requirement management. To be successful in this position, you are both persistent and result-oriented with a positive and open-minded attitude. You understand the importance of motivating through situational leadership and acting proactively to ensure that everybody is working towards a common goal. You work well in a dynamic, playful environment and are both willing and able to mediate between differing stakeholder demands. Finally, you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
