Robotics Developer - Computer vision

At Blue Ocean Robotics we create and commercialise robots. We apply robot technology to create solutions and innovation for end-users and new businesses in partnerships. Our solutions are adopted by business, governments and private consumers in industries ranging from manufacturing, healthcare, education, security and surveillance, agriculture and fishery to off-shore and construction.
 
As Robotics Developer in Computer vision, you will be a main part of the Product Development team as a talented algorithm developer, who can be our lead in developing our requested vision tasks. We are currently starting up new interesting projects, and you will find yourself working in a product oriented environment handling many things at once. You need to have practical skills in developing algorithms for detection and classification of objects and have a practical sense on how to get the perfect image.
We will be looking for an independent candidate that can demonstrate the ability to work in teams with the product focus at all times.
 
Your Profile
The ideal candidate has years of work experience in developing algorithms. In addition we expect you to bring some of the following experience and characteristics:
 
Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of image filtering and feature detection
• Experience with PCL and OpenCV
• Data analysis know-how
• Fluent in C/C++ or Python
• Lead software quality assurance, testing and validation
• Proficient in Linux systems (mainly Ubuntu)
• Git or other version control

Nice to have:

• Experience with ROS CV bridge
• Experience with real robot systems
• UI/UX experience
• Meteor Framework knowledge
• Experience with CUDA is desirable
• Neuronal networks comprehension
• SCRUM
