Weibel Scientific is looking for a technician/engineer to support our sales department with assignments like Radar system support, repairs, integration and training. We do not expect that you are a full radar systems expert, but we do expect that you will become one.

Our advanced radars come in a varirity of shapes and sizes, from a couple of kilos to several tons. The larger Radars provide highly accurate data even over great distances and have been designed to work under extreme conditions such as on ships in open waters or the middle of the desert.
You will get to work in Denmark and all worldwide at customer sites together with your colleagues doing Radar operation, repairs, system integration and training

Your day to day work will include:

  • Completing system test and calibrations at the Weibel Test Center
  • Debug and repair systems, both in house and abroad
  • Prepare and complete demonstrations for customers worldwide
  • Train customers in the uses of the different radar systems
  • Act as a Radar operator when clients have a need for an on-site expert
  • See large parts of the world as work assignments will not only be in Denmark

We expect that you:

  • Have both a theoretical and practical background within electronics (engineer/technician or other)
  • Quickly gain an understanding of the build-up and the possibilities/limitations of the systems
  • Are a self-reliant person that can work well without supervision
  • Have a social and outgoing personality and are capable of working with customers with different backgrounds from different cultures
  • Are an adventurer and not afraid of challenges in some of the most remote regions of the world.
  • Have a desire to travel

Experience with radar technology or related fields are a plus. Experience with testing and production of electronics is also relevant.

At Weibel Scientific you will be working with colleagues who are experts in their own fields and influence the direction the company’s technology advances in. As part of the sales team you will be part of the company’s public image and must be efficient and professional when representing Weibel. You will learn to be self-reliant and work independently while still being part of a team.

We offer an inspiring and developing work environment in a company that continues to grow, has a strong economy and a solid market base. The tone at Weibel is informal and with an open and smoke free office environment.
