Senior Pipeline Engineer - Oil & Gas and Offshore

Work on Pipeline and Marine Structures projects
As a Senior Pipeline Engineer in our Offshore Pipelines department you will be part of a dedicated team executing ownership of various projects in regard to Oil & Gas substructures. Additionally, you will be working on projects from feasibility study to detailed design of large offshore substructures. You will mostly be working on single phase projects with interfaces to other disciplines.

Through your solid experience in delivering quality solutions, you act as role model for your colleagues and you take lead responsibility in complex project execution. Internally, you will collaborate with some of the industries’ foremost experts, and as we value education and on-the-job training, you will act as a mentor for other team members. Externally, you will have direct contact with our primary clients such as Maersk, Statoil and Dong Energy. 

We offer you the opportunity to work with;

• Design of offshore substructures for both Oil & Gas substructures, Jackets, risers and pipelines
• Complex FE modelling of offshore components and pipelines
• Decommissioning projects

Besides your personal qualifications, we also expect you to:

• Have minimum 5-8 years’ of experience in offshore structures or offshore pipeline engineering, preferably in the North Sea area
  • Possibly 2-3 years hereof with senior experience
• Be familiar with ISO and preferably also with API, NORSOK, AMSE or DNVGL codes
• Be experienced with ANSYS Workbench or Classic
• Be experienced with a 3D beam element program (ROSAP, SESAM, SACS or similar)
• Write and speak English at business level
• Hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in structural, naval or mechanical engineering

Today, the Global Service Area for Offshore Pipelines and Jackets in Ramboll Oil & Gas counts more than 80 employees. The Offshore Pipelines department is primarily working with offshore pipelines, but provides also support to our Jackets and Wind departments. We offer services within offshore pipeline design, installation, rigid and flexible risers design, subsea structure design, support to substructure design, reassessment, supervision and general support.
